Tried & True: Baby Care Favorites Through #2
Updated: Jun 27, 2019
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Triple Paste - Diaper Rash Ointment. All opinions are 100% mine.

Being a Mom of two young kids means I have tried a LOT of baby products. While people typically ask for advice on the big ticket items like strollers and carseats, I’ve found that underappreciated everyday baby care items are some of the most important. All of the baby care items I am sharing below are products that we used regularly for both children during the infant and toddler months and still do! I am so excited to be partnering with one of our favorite baby products, Triple Paste on this post.
Triple Paste - When Madeleine was a baby we battled terrible diaper rash and tried several products and wasted a lot of money, trying to get her some relief. It wasn't until we started using Triple Paste that her rash looked so much better within a few hours and was completely clear within a matter of days. When I was pregnant with Maclan and preparing for baby #2 I didn't waste my time buying any other products. I went straight for the Triple Paste and haven't looked back since! Would you believe that Mac is now almost 20 months old and we have only battled diaper rash a couple of times? We have been able to quickly combat it with the help of Triple Paste. Kirklands Wipes - I feel like this is one of those items you wouldn't know about unless someone specially told you to yo buy these, or in our case, received an entire box on our doorstep from ] our Costco-loving neighbor when Madeleine was born. These wipes are serioulsly the best - not too dry/wet and fragrance free. The best past is you don't need to be a Costco member to buy these. You can buy them directly on the Costco website at a small non-member premium and they ship for free.
Nosefrida - Some people are totally grossed out by this item but ill admit I'm in the opposite camp! There is nothing more satisfying than sucking out a big booger and helping your baby breathe more easily. It is so important to keep your babies/toddlers' noses clear and this thing works so much better than the traditional snot sucker bulb they sell.
Piyo Piyo Nail Scissors - I have talked about these before but they deserve another shout out after an incident where Sam chose NOT to use these. Let's just say that resulted in a trip to the doctor (and Sam’s retirement from child nail cutting) and all other baby nail clippers have been disposed on. I have the best luck cutting nails when i throw on something mesmerizing like Baby Shark. Doo. Doo. Doo..
Aden + Anis Hooden Bath Towels - We are still using these towels from when Madeleine was born and they have held up so well almost 4 years later. They are nice and light, dry quickly and the size is versatile whether your swaddling your newborn right out of the bath or scooping your toddler out of the shower.
Homedics Sound Spa - This is our go-to noise machine in both kids rooms. It doesn't have any bells or whistles, but trust me it works. We throw this in our bag any time we travel, and crank them up to full volume when we have people over and the kids are trying to sleep. It can run on batteries if you are not near an outlet which means you can even throw it in the bottom of a stroller if you have a baby napping in a stroller at a party!
