Favorite Mom Hacks $50 and Under

Here are a few of my favorite affordable products that have helped make my mom life, just a little bit easier.

TriVision Cloud Cam - I wanted something that could help me keep an eye on the basement if I had to step away while both kids were playing, but i didn't want to spend a lot of money on another baby monitor, and I wanted something at my fingertips (like my phone). This camera does the trick. It provides instant live viewing and playback recordings with video and audio with Apple iOS, Android AppTwo-way audio allows you to see, hear and speak to your kids through the built-in denoising speaker and mic straight from your smartphone.

Vidalia Chop Wizard - this is my go-to chopper for making guacamole. Lately, its used most often as a quick way to dice up fruit into tiny pieces for my 2-teether, Maclan. A little less exciting, but helpful, nonetheless.

ezpz Mini Happy Mat Placemat - we don't own this, but I am thinking I need this for Mac, who has officially entered the phase of loving to throw everything. Fortunately our highchair has a removable tray that I will put food directly on, but this seems more practical. I mean the kid needs to start using a place setting eventually!

Piyo Piyo Baby Nail Scissors - hands down the best nail cutting scissors for babies and kids. No worries about clipping their skin with these because you have complete control.

Batiste Dry Shampoo - no real explanation needed, an essential for any Mom!

Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift - this brightens your eyes instantly for those sleep deprived nights. It has been great on my sensitive, eczema prone skin.

Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration - this has been my go-to face cream for a few months now. Not only has it done wonders for my eczema, but it is gentle enough to use on my kids, which I do often!

Conair Extreme Steamer - I barely make it to my basement to iron these days. I leave this in our upstairs bathroom and use it multiple times a week to steam out wrinkles in no time.

Electric Sweater Shaver - this is on my Christmas list, but i have seen this in action and it appears to revive old sweaters in a matter of minutes.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness - this does exactly what it says it does...it covers any redness on your face and stays put.

Skip Hop Stroll and Go Phone Tether - this has been a lifesaver for baby distractions of YouTube Sesame Street (no judgement zone) when we have been out to dinner or out and about somewhere and just trying to make it through without a meltdown. You can slide your cell phone in the pouch and tether this to a stroller, highchair etc to avoid cracked screens!
